Interaction

Vista includes a variety of ways that you can interact with either 2D images, or 3D models in the Rendering Canvas. On the canvas you can zoom in and out, pan, rotate and scroll. These interactions can be done via mouse, touchpad/trackpad or touchscreen, covering a wide range of devices from desktops to smartphone touchscreens. Below we will break down how to carry out each of these interactions, depending on your input device. Use the tables below as a reference.

Mouse

RotatePanZoomDICOM ViewerN/ALeft-Click on an Image and drag across the canvas.Scroll up on the scroll wheel to zoom in. Scroll down to zoom out.Volume ViewerLeft-Click and drag across the canvas in the direction that you want the actor to rotate.Right-Click and drag across the canvas in the direction that you want the actor moved.Scroll up on the scroll wheel to zoom in. Trackpad (Mac)

RotatePanZoomDICOM ViewerN/APress down on the trackpad with one finger, and slide another finger across in the direction you want the image moved.Place two fingers on the trackpad (don't press down), and slide both fingers up to zoom out. Slide both fingers down to zoom in.Volume ViewerPress down on the trackpad with one finger, and slide another finger across in the direction that you want the actor to rotate.Press down on the trackpad with two fingers, and slide both across in the direction that you want the actor moved.Place two fingers on the trackpad, and slide both fingers up to zoom out.
